A 39-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man was found stabbed to death at his home in Dublin on Saturday.

The body of 53-year-old Christopher Jackson, from Prussia Street, off North Circular Road, had been concealed in a plastic bag at his flat for at least two days.

Irish police said it was about to be moved when officers arrived.

The accused is due before Dublin District Court later.

Two other people, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s, remain in police custody.
