- G8 leaders have signed a declaration saying they would "fight the scourge of tax evasion" on the second and final day of a summit in Northern Ireland
- The leaders also backed calls for peace talks aimed at ending the conflict in Syria to be held in Geneva "as soon as possible"
- The UK's David Cameron said the summit had "overcome fundamental differences" - but there was no timetable for talks or mention of Mr Assad's future role
