Man freed in double murder inquiry in County Kerry

A man arrested by police investigating the murder of a 27-year-old woman and her eight-year-old daughter in County Kerry has been released without charge.

The bodies of Jolanta Lubiene and her daughter, Enrika, were found at their house in Killorglin on 16 June.

They had been stabbed. Ms Lubiene, who was originally from Lithuania, had been living in Kerry for a number of years

Gardai have released man in his 40s who was arrested on Sunday.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
