The death of a man whose body was recovered from a river in County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The body was removed from the river at Carrowreagh, Bridgend, on Sunday afternoon.

It was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital.

The area where the body was found is close to where a 4 x 4 vehicle belonging to Londonderry man Stephen McCloskey was discovered last week.

The 33-year-old has been missing since 27 October.
