Alderney's relief lifeboat "Henry Heys Duckworth" was called out for a third time in three days for another yacht rescue.

At 0540 BST on Tuesday it was launched to help three people on the 33ft Gosport-registered yacht Isadora, which was suffering from mechanical failure.

It was becalmed 3.5 miles north-east of the island on its return trip to Gosport and was towed to Braye Harbour.

It followed rescues of two 10m yachts, one on Monday and another on Sunday.
