One killed in Jardin Louise house fire on Sark
A house fire which killed a person in the Channel Island of Sark is being investigated.
The island's fire engine and other emergency services were called to Jardin Louise after a fire broke out in the early hours.
It is believed three people were in the house, but two managed to escape. It is not thought they were injured.
Firefighters later recovered the body of a third person. The victim has not yet been identified.
Police officers and a fire investigator have travelled to Sark from Guernsey.
A police spokesman told BBC News a detailed forensic investigation would be carried out.
