Development of former Guernsey Brewery site discussed
Islanders have been asked for their thoughts on what should happen to the former Guernsey Brewery site in St Peter Port.
The States released a draft development plan on Friday and the public have until 24 September to comment on whether it meets the community's needs.
A number of uses have been proposed, including retail, entertainment, residential and tourism.
The site was first used as a brewery in 1845 and work stopped during 2001-2003.
The site has been described as "extremely prominent in townscape terms" and as the "southern 'gateway' to the Town's strong urban character".
Copies of the Draft Development Brief are available on the States of Guernsey website or from Sir Charles Frossard House.
