Guernsey weekend postal workers tackle deliveries

  • Published

Guernsey Post workers are working over the weekend to deal with a backlog of Christmas deliveries to islanders.

The postal firm is facing a big increase in packages from online orders and made two deliveries on Saturday.

Guernsey Post is also advising islanders to send mail to the UK "as soon as possible" to avoid delays caused by snow.

The last posting date for parcels is Monday and for packets and letters it is Tuesday.
