Hundreds of islanders have braved icy conditions for a dip in the sea to raise funds for charity.

Despite near-freezing temperatures, they turned out at Cobo Bay for the event in aid of Guernsey Cheshire Home.

Many islanders were in fancy dress for the 11th event in aid of the home in the Rohais.

Proceeds of the event will help with the running costs of the home which cares for people with serious disabilities.
