Organisers hope the official launch of the Guernsey Voluntary Service will encourage more men and young people to volunteer.
The group, formerly known as the Women's Royal Voluntary Service, was forced to change its name in May.
The launch included the raising of a flag showing the group's new logo on the memorial mast.
Co-ordinator Lorna Hooley said hopefully the fresh new look would attract more men and younger people.
The group's services include two day centres and a meals on wheels delivery service.
