Guernsey signs Indonesia tax information deal

Guernsey has signed a tax information agreement with Indonesia.

The document means that the authorities will exchange bank and other information relating to criminal and civil tax matters.

Indonesia's Ambassador to the UK, Yuri Thamrin, travelled to Guernsey to sign the document.

Guernsey States said it hoped the agreement would also produce closer economic links between the island and the south-east Asian country.
