Green fees raised to fund Commons

Guernsey's largest Commons, L'Ancresse, which houses two golf courses, will get a financial boost from raised green fees.
The Vale Commons Council set out its 25-year vision in a newsletter to residents.
It explained that the golf courses have been paying £100 a year, but may rise in 2016 to almost £800.
There has been no change in fees for 70 years but a spokesman said: "Funding requires a 'user pays' policy."
