Guernsey Police officers injured during training

Two Guernsey Police officers have been injured in a public order training exercise.

Both sustained leg injuries in the incident on Thursday.

A spokesman for the force said one of the two male officers had been discharged from the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.

The force is investigating what caused the injuries and the Health and Safety Executive will carry out an independent investigation.
