Red diesel stolen from fuel tank in Isle of Man

Thieves have stolen approximately 900 litres (200 gallons) of red diesel from a fuel tank in the Isle of Man.

Police believe the theft, at a commercial premises in Derbyhaven village, occurred at some point between 1700 BST on Friday and 0600 BST on Monday.

They are appealing for anyone being offered cheap red diesel to come forward.

Red diesel is used mainly for agricultural and heating purposes.
