Two are charged over Isle of Man home attack


Two people have been charged after a man was allegedly assaulted in his home in the Isle of Man.

The man, described by police as middle aged, was injured in a property in Mona Drive, Douglas, at about 2330 BST on Sunday.

He was taken to Nobles Hospital in Douglas where he remains in a stable condition, Det Sgt Andrew Pailor said.

A 24-year-old woman and a man, 25, have been charged in connection with the assault.

Police have urged anyone with any information to contact them.
