Isle of Man fire crews rescue cat from water wheel

Firefighters in the Isle of Man were called to rescue a cat after it got stuck under a water wheel.

Crews from Douglas were called to a property in Glen Vine at about 1430 BST on Tuesday.

They climbed into the basin of the wheel and freed the animal who was not hurt in the incident.

A fire service spokeswoman said it was an "unusual rescue" for the crews and she was not aware of such an incident in her six years with the service.
