Driver injured in hit-and-run crash in Isle of Man

A 35-year-old driver was injured during a hit-and-run crash in the Isle of Man, police said.

Two vehicles collided on the Castletown bypass on Tuesday, at about 2000 BST.

One of the drivers, who is from Douglas, suffered leg and arm injuries. The other fled the scene, a police spokesman said.

Police have appealed for the driver of a red hatchback vehicle, and any witnesses, to contact Pc Dave Kneen at Port Erin police station.
