Almost 1,000 pupils at the Isle of Man's five secondary schools have collected their GCSE results.
The island followed parts of the UK in issuing results to students two days earlier than normal to give them more time to enrol on courses.
Among those picking up their results was Matthew Cannell, a pupil at Ballakermeen High School, who achieved six A* and four A grades.
A full overview of Manx results will be published on Thursday.
Matthew was one of about 200 pupils to visit Ballakermeen High School at 0900 BST to receive their results on Tuesday.
There were similar scenes at Castle Rushen High School, Ramsey Grammar School, St Ninians High School and Queen Elizabeth II High School.
