Isle of Man jogger mauled by Rottweiler dog

A 14-year-old girl was attacked by a Rottweiler dog while out jogging in Douglas.

The teenager was running in the Governor's Hill area of the town when she was bitten on Monday.

She suffered a large bruise and puncture wounds to her forearm, and was left shaken by the incident, Manx Police said.

The dog was on a lead being walked by a man and woman in their mid-20s. Officers are appealing for witnesses.
