The family of Mark Green, who died at the weekend, has paid tribute to a "loving husband, father and son".

The body of Mr Green, 44, was found outside his house in the Hillside Avenue area of Douglas on 12 February.

Mr Green's family said: "He was a big cuddly teddy bear and absolutely lit up a room as soon as he walked in. We are all devastated by his loss".

Ryan Oakey, 19, from Douglas has been remanded in custody after being charged with manslaughter.

He has also been charged with affray and threats to kill, a spokesman for Isle of Man police said.

Mark Green, who was originally from St Helens, worked at Ronaldsway Airport.

He lived with his wife Jill and had five children and step-children, and three grandchildren.
