Three arrested as cannabis seized on Isle of Man


Three people have been arrested after police on the Isle of Man seized cannabis with an estimated street value of £108,000.

Police said officers from the drug trafficking unit arrested three people in the upper Douglas area at about 1800 GMT on Thursday.

The two men and a woman, all from Merseyside, were found to be in possession of 25kg of cannabis resin.

Manx police said it was the largest-ever seizure of the drug on the island.

The three people arrested are due to be questioned.
