Police safety warning after three road collisions
Traffic officers on the Isle of Man have warned motorists to be vigilant after three collisions took place within the space of 90 minutes.
A car collided with a motorbike near the Hawthorn pub at 1312 BST on Monday.
At 1337 BST, a second motorbike left the road at Devil's Elbow, followed by another crash near the Hawthorn pub at 1440 when a car hit a telegraph pole.
The rider in the second collision was treated at Noble's Hospital. The other riders suffered minor injuries.
Insp Mark Britton said: "These collisions reinforce the need for drivers and riders to take more care.
"I feel that there is still more that we can all do to take precautions when driving or riding more carefully around the island."
