Second man arrested after Castletown fight

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fight in Castletown, which left a 42-year-old man in hospital with serious head injuries.

A 35-year-old man arrested by police following the incident has been released without charge.

The fight took place in Malew Street in the town at about 18:15 BST on Wednesday and the victim was taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police.

Bank Street and Malew Street, between Old Church and Market Square, were closed for forensic examinations.
