Isle of Man Mountain Road converts to one-way

The Isle of Man's Mountain Road will again be converted to a one-way route for the duration of the TT races.

The one-way system, from Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg-ny-Baa, will be in place until 11 June.

It was introduced for the 2007 TT races as a safety measure to reduce the likelihood of head-on collisions.

The route between Barrule Park and the Creg-ny-Baa will be closed altogether on 25 May until 16:00 BST when it will re open as a one-way road.

The arrival of the Olympic torch in the Isle of Man will mean an additional road closure during the TT festival.

On Saturday, 2 June the road will close between Quaterbridge and Braddan Bridge at 10:00 BST ahead of the first official day of racing.
