Isle of Man school tribute for crash death teenager
An Isle of Man college has paid tribute to a "big-hearted" teenager who died after a car crash on Sunday.
Dosch MacLeod, who went to King William's College in Castletown, was transferred to the Walton Centre in Liverpool after the collision.
Police said it happened at about 17:00 (BST) near the 11th Milestone, between Ballacraine and Kirk Michael.
Principal Martin Humphreys said: "Dosch was a big man with a big heart - his death has hit the community hard."
He added: "Yesterday pupils and staff gathered in the College Chapel for prayer and to offer support for Dosch's family.
"Our priority now is to support the family and all the pupils, many of whom are taking public examinations at this difficult time".
Police said the sixth-form pupil's car, an Audi A4, was involved in a collision with a Hyundai Amica which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The two Hyundai occupants were taken to Noble's hospital on the Isle of Man, with serious injuries.
