Ian Anderson remanded ahead of Neil Roberts murder trial

A man has been remanded in custody ahead of his trial for the murder of a 60-year-old found dead in a house in the Isle of Man in December.

Ian Anderson, 45, of Queen Street, Castletown, is charged with the murder of Neil Roberts from Ballabeg.

Mr Anderson pleaded not guilty to murder on 7 April.

No application for bail was made at Douglas courthouse earlier and Mr Anderson was remanded in custody until 3 July for a pre-trial hearing.

Mr Roberts was found dead at a house on Queen Street on 1 December.
