Neil Roberts' murder: Manx murder trial jury dismissed
A jury in the trial of a man charged with murdering a 60-year-old tree surgeon in Castletown in 2013 has been dismissed.
Neil Roberts from Ballabeg was found dead at 40 Queen's Street on 1 December 2013.
Ian Anderson, 46 and from Castletown, denies his murder.
Deemster Alastair Montgomerie told Douglas courthouse he would reveal the reason for dismissing the jury "in due course".
The jury of seven women and five men had been sworn in on Monday ahead of a proposed four-week trial.
On Tuesday, they visited the house and saw video footage of the crime scene showing bloodstains on the walls, floors and doors.
It is not yet known when a new jury will be sworn in.
Deemster Montgomerie remanded Mr Anderson in custody.
