Manx unemployment: Lowest April figure for seven years
Unemployment on the Isle of Man has fallen for a third consecutive month, official figures have shown.
The Isle of Man Treasury says it now stands at 1.9% of the workforce - the lowest recorded figure for April in seven years.
At the end of the month, 834 Manx residents were out of work, compared to 865 in March.
A total of 750 vacancies were notified to the Isle of Man Job Centre during April, with 500 remaining vacant.
The figures also show 178 people have been unemployed for more than 12 months, a third of them aged under 30.
