Three people whose car crashed into a bus stop on the Isle of Man have died, police said.
Two of the vehicle's four occupants died at the scene of the collision at about 09:00 BST in Laxey, police said, while the two others were taken to Nobles Hospital critically injured.
One has since died while the other remains critical in intensive care.
All four involved in the crash, near Fairy Cottage, were "elderly" residents of the Isle of Man, police said.
Staff from all three emergency services attended the scene.
Police said they were satisfied no other person or vehicle was involved.
A spokesman added that any witnesses to the crash should contact police headquarters on 01624 631212.
The main road between Douglas and Ramsey was closed between Church Rd and Captains Hill until about 14:30 while police investigated what happened.
During the day Noble's Hospital said its accident and emergency department was experiencing waiting times of between five and six hours as staff dealt with the incident.
A spokesman asked the public not go to hospital unless it was "absolutely necessary".
