Four charged over seizures of cocaine in Jersey

Four people have appeared in Jersey's Magistrates' Court in connection with two seizures of cocaine totalling £140,000.

Two men aged 40 and another man aged 59 were charged with planning to import the drugs.

A woman aged 58 was charged with helping someone else retain the benefits of drug trafficking.

The four were given bail under strict conditions and are due to appear again in court on 12 August.

Jersey police made the first seizure in January and the second on Wednesday.

Three other people who were also arrested were released while the police continue their investigations.
