Disabled Jersey work group Speakout seeks more members

Published
A group which helps disabled people with employment issues in Jersey has appealed for new members.
As part of the Jersey Employment Trust, Speakout campaigns to find work for people regardless of any disability they may have.
It is also involved with a campaign to influence building laws to ensure disabled changing facilities are provided.
Speakout said it needed more caring, committed and pro-active people.
Spokeswoman Rosie Baker said the group hoped to expand and increase the number of committee members from eight to 12.
