Jersey housing plan raises traffic fears

Published

People living near a new Jersey housing development have raised concerns about increased traffic.

Developer Dandara wants to build 87 homes on the site of the former Jersey Dairy at Five Oaks in St Saviour.

The plans are for 13 more homes than a previous scheme which was rejected and nearby residents say it will make a congested area of the island worse.

Deputy Roy le Herrisier said measures would be taken to handle the traffic.
