Jersey's specialist fire crew rescues cliff fall dog

A spaniel has been rescued by a specialist fire crew after falling from cliffs in Jersey.

The dog and its owner had been walking on paths above Beauport Bay when it fell down the cliff face.

The alarm was raised by its owner after the accident on Thursday afternoon just before 1500 BST.

Jersey Fire and Rescue Service said its specialist height crew found the dog stranded on rocks and brought it to safety. It was uninjured.
