Unemployment in Jersey has risen, according to the latest statistics.
Figures from the States show there were 140 more people out of work in July than in the previous month.
Younger people made up the majority of new people registering with Social Security, with the biggest increase in the 16 to 19 age group.
In total, 1,250 people are now registered as unemployed, but as there is no law about registering, the real number could be higher.
More than 100 teenagers are on the Advance to Work Scheme which offers work experience and training to help them find permanent jobs.
