About 300 passengers due to fly to London on Monday night were left without a flight at Jersey Airport after Gatwick Airport stopped flights.
The runway at Jersey Airport remained opened until after midnight to try to clear the backlog of flights.
Jersey Airport authorities said the majority of flights were running, including inter-island services.
They have warned that some delays are still likely, but are asking passengers to check in as usual.
There have been some cancellations from Jersey, caused by the continuing severe weather conditions in the UK and Europe, mainly Luton, Exeter and Paris.
