Jersey opinions wanted on disposal of asbestos

Asbestos could be disposed of at Jersey's incinerator - but the island's waste management law means the public must be consulted before it can happen.
Transport and Technical Services want to get rid of the waste that has built up over the past five years.
David Monks, head of waste regulation for the States of Jersey, said asbestos was currently being stored in big shipping containers.
Transport and Technical Services have said they now need to dispose of it.
No details of the public consultation period have yet been released.
