Call for more spaces in Snow Hill car park

There are calls for more spaces at Snow Hill car park in St Helier by a Jersey politician.

Deputy Anne Dupre said plans to make the car park bigger had been ignored for too long.

It has been nearly 25 years since the first proposals for more spaces at the car park.

The deputy said there was a queue of cars waiting to park there every day and she wanted a study into providing more spaces.

She argues it is close to town, would improve access to Fort Regent and would serve people from the east of the island.
