St Helier roads closed for cycle race


Roads in the centre of St Helier were closed on Sunday for the staging of a major cycle race.

Competitors from the UK, France and Jersey took part in the Jersey leg of the Criterium series on a 1.2 mile course through the streets of St Helier.

The racers raced in groups for up to 30 laps around the centre of St Helier.

Roads along the course were closed until about 1900 BST.
