Jersey bikers line streets in tribute

Hundreds of motorbikes lined the streets of St Helier for the funeral of a Jersey businessman who died while riding in the UK.

Ian Kingham, 54, from St Helier was riding his Harley Davidson when it was involved in a collision with a car.

He was travelling back from a motorcycle rally on Wednesday when the crash happened on the A31 between Alton and Winchester in Hampshire.

Geoff Habin, a Jersey motorcycle dealer who knew Mr Kingham, said the tribute would have meant a lot to him.

Although he said he would be slightly embarrassed by the motorbike procession.
