Jersey man with more than 100 convictions jailed
A man was jailed after pleading guilty to 18 counts of break and entry and attempted break and entry in Jersey.
Daniel James Vibert also admitted receiving stolen goods, possession of class B drugs and four other theft-related charges.
Jersey Police said all occurred between February and October 2011.
It said the island's Royal Court heard how he had committed his first offence at the age of 10 and had had more than 100 convictions since.
The 20-year-old was sentenced to three years in prison.
Ch Insp Alison Fossey said: "There are a small number of people responsible for most of the break-ins on the island and through Operation Hornet, which we launched last month, we are working to bring that handful of people to justice."
