Jersey Live Festival with JT organisers have confirmed the Saturday night headliner for the dance arena.

Tech house star James Zabiela will headline on Saturday bringing his pioneering use of loops and effects to Jersey.

He will be joined by the man described as one of the most influential producers in electronic music, Joshua Harvey, aka Herve.

Jaguar Skills will also make a return to Jersey Live having first performed at the festival in 2010.

The event is still subject to the organisers gaining the Bailiff's permission.

Also performing on Saturday in the dance arena will be Jaymo and Andy George who have gone from strength to strength since becoming the youngest DJs to record a live essential mix for BBC Radio 1.

On the Sunday, drum and bass duo Delta Heavy will perform alongside Feed Me who are signed to Deadmau5's Mau5trap label.

There will be five stages at the festival in 2012, the Main Stage, Dance Arena, the Tease Stage, the JT Stage and the Hospitality Stage.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Chase & Status, Primal Scream and Professor Green are among the acts confirmed for the Main Stage so far.

Also confirmed are Friends, The Janice Graham Band, Bwani Junction, Nina Nesbitt and rising folk star Jake Bugg.

Jersey Live is on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 September at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity.

Co-organiser, Warren Le Sueur, said: "I've got a feeling this one's going to be a really special Jersey Live.

"The Dance Arena is looking really strong and there is something there for a really broad spectrum of electronic music fans, from tech house to electro to dubstep and [drum and bass].

"We have still got our Sunday night Dance Arena headliner to announce, as well as plenty of other Main Stage, JT and Tease Stage artists, so lots to look forward to."

Tickets go on sale on Saturday 26 May and will be £92 for Standard Weekend tickets for over-16s.
