Darren McCormack pleads guilty to Jersey murder of Colin Chevalier

A man has pleaded guilty to the murder of Colin Chevalier, who was found dead in his Jersey home in April.

Darren Neil McCormack, 35, pleaded guilty at a Jersey Royal Court sitting held held in the Magistrates' Court building.

He will be back in court on 8 January for sentencing after reports have been prepared for the judge.

Mr Chevalier, 46, was discovered in his flat in Duhamel Place, St Helier, with "extensive" injuries.
