Jersey sex abuse accused 'first offence aged 10'
A man has been charged with 26 historic sex offences, the oldest dating back to when he was 10 years old.
Antony John Quant, 49, from St Helier, Jersey, has been charged with offences spanning from 1978 to 1991, Jersey Magistrates' Court heard.
The charges include rape and indecent assault of children.
He was released on bail subject to conditions, including not being allowed to be alone in a room with any children.
He is due to reappear in court on 20 July.
