US mid-terms: Send us your views in video

  • Published

As we approach November's mid-term elections in the US, we want to hear from voters in America. Are you in the US? Then why not send us your video comments on the upcoming poll.

We're asking voters to record a short clip of themselves giving their opinion on the election. We plan to show the best videos on the BBC News website, in a video wall, and also on BBC television news.

We're asking two questions. How do you rate Obama's first two years in office? And what do you want to see happen in the mid-terms?

Take a look at the video above, sent in by Bruce Hansen in Wisconsin. What do you think of his opinion? Do you have something strong to say about the election? Then send us your own video views.

Sending us your video is easy. You can email the clip to yourpics@bbc.co.uk or text it to +44 7725 100 100.

If you are filming via webcam or have a large file you can upload here.

To make your video clip, here are some guidelines:

• Your clip must be a maximum length of 90 seconds.

• Introduce yourself, tell us where you live and then relate your view on the mid-terms.

Please read our terms and conditions before submitting your video. We reserve the right not to publish videos if editorially inappropriate.

At no time should you endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or infringe any laws.
