It can be unsettling if a friend has posted something that’s made you concerned about them.
Ask your friend in person how they are feeling. Reassure them they’ve done the right thing by reaching out and remind them they aren’t alone.
Talking about feelings rather than blocking them out is a really positive and brave thing to do. Sometimes people just need someone to listen to them, so it’s really helpful if you think you can be the listening place for your friend to go to.
Remember, if you’re really worried about someone online, tell an adult you trust so they can help you and help your friend. Sometimes being a good friend means speaking up for them when they can’t themselves.
