Kids react to mean comments

The things you see and hear online can sometimes hurt your feelings, confuse you, or make you unhappy.

This doesn’t mean you need to be scared, but it always helps to be cautious with who you’re interacting with online. Check up on your privacy settings, and make sure that you’re in control of who can contact you in the digital world.

You should never have to put up with bullying, either online or in real life. So if you do ever see a mean comment, it’s always best to block and report.

If you or one of your friends is struggling with bullying behaviour then it's always best to talk to a trusted adult. If you need help and aren't sure who to speak to, there are some organisations who can help you and if you need to speak to someone urgently, you can talk to Childline any time on 0800 1111.
