Easter makeup tutorial: bunny

Remember to check with a parent or guardian about any allergies before using face paints and eyelash glue and get them to help if you use a hot glue gun.

You will need:

  • Pink card, felt or foam board
  • A head band
  • White pipe-cleaners
  • Craft glue
  • Ribbon
  • Pink blush or eyeshadow
  • White and black face paint or makeup

Step 1

You'll need to do this somewhere that you don't mind getting covered in glue.

Take four pipe-cleaners, bend each one in half around the head band and glue them on. Then twist together each folded pipe-cleaner all the way to the top end, where two come together in the middle to make a bunny ear shape.

Step 2

Cut out a piece of pink card/felt/foam. Add glue to the back of the pipe-cleaners and stick the card on them. Trim away excess pink and add a piece of pipe-cleaner to the base of each ear.

Step 3

Use ribbon to make two small bows and glue one to the base of each ear. That's the headband done, now it's time for the face paint!

Step 4

Add pink to your eyelids and white on inner corners of your eye and underneath eyebrows. (This is where you can add eyeliner, mascara and false eyelashes if you want to but it's not essential.)

Step 5

Paint white eyebrows above your own and add white around your mouth and underneath your nose. Add a pink bunny nose and some pink lipstick if you want.

Step 6

Lastly, use some black makeup to draw a line between the nose and mouth, and to add whiskers and extra eyebrow hairs. Add the bunny ears and YOU'RE DONE!

And there you have it! An awesome look for any fancy dress party. But if this isn't quite what you're looking for, why not try Jessica's cool Easter chick?
