|Karunanidhi says DMK will have to reconsider its position if no action is taken
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has stepped up his campaign for Indian intervention in Sri Lanka.
After asking the people of the state to flood the PM's office with telegrams calling for cease fire and following it up with
a telephonic call to Mr.Manmohan Singh, Karunanidhi addressed a public meeting in Chennai Monday evening.
The chief minister also asked the Indian PM Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi to show a way out for this
The solution should be one such that would also save India and prevent any such genocidal attacks everywhere else in the world.
He also recalled a resolution he had moved at a general council meet of the DMK back in 1956 opposing the Sinhala Only policy
and expressing the solidarity of the Tamil Nadu Tamils.
