Cornwall's Julie Kitchen has got off to a winning start in her opening Muaythai Premier League fight in California.

The 13-time world champion won a unanimous points decision over Czech fighter Martina Jindrova in Long Beach.

The event pits the world's best fighters against each other in round-robin action, with Kitchen fighting in the Super Lightweight division.

Kitchen's next fight will be in Amsterdam on 4 November against Canadian Sandra Bastian.
