Newquay-based Ben Skinner says he is delighted to have won the European longboard title for the second time.
The Jerseyman took the title in Bundoran in Republic of Ireland.
"It was an absolute pleasure to be there and it was an amazing event," Skinner told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"I'm feeling really good, my boards are absolutely amazing and I feel really comfortable on them," he added after winning the crown he first took back in October 2009.
Skinner is now focusing on topping the ETL European longboard tour after gaining a place on the ASP's world tour after being runner-up at Boardmasters.
And he says his surfing has improved as he is enjoying it more.
"I don't want to put too much pressure on myself," Skinner said.
"I've had a good year already and I've just got to keep enjoying myself and enjoying the surf and that's why I'm enjoying myself."
